Travel interview: pure India!
Our travel tip of the month, India, comes from Björn and Maria von Augen on tour today .
The two have a 452 days long trip around the world made it and have seen some exciting things and learned a lot about themselves and other countries.
One of those countries was India . The two spent a total of 50 days here . Here they have summarized their very personal impressions of the various key points for us.
Björn and Maria:
India is gigantic. If you want to explore the whole country, you have to rely on long-distance travel, i.e. de facto on the train. It’s not easy to book, rarely clean,
almost always overcrowded, but guaranteed to be an experience every time. The Tchai on the train alone is great. And the longer you sit next to strangers,
the more familiar they become. So it happens that on the train, where you might least expect it, you have a real chance to get to know something about India and its inhabitants.
